Dodgers win 2nd game of double header behind Leonard gem

Dutch Leonard finished what he started, tossing a complete game shutout in game 2 of the July 4 doubleheader.  Leonard was impressive.  He allowed 10 hits but did not walk a batter.  The Phillies couldn't get a hit off of him when they needed it, as they finished 0-for-10 with runners in scoring position.

The big inning for the Dodgers came in the 3rd inning when they scored 5 runs to put themselves up 5-0.  Dutch Leonard led off the inning and reached on an error.  Buzz Boyle then singled, Frey walked, Koenecke singled, Taylor walked, Leslie singled, and Stripp hit a sac fly.  That's right, six batters reached before an out was recorded, putting the Dodgers in a commanding lead.

But the MVP of the game was definitely Leonard.  He watched his ERA to go from 5.03 to 4.57.
