Mel Ott smacked 3 home runs and had 7 RBI's yesterday in a win against the Cardinals. He hit an RBI single in the 1st inning, hit a 2-run home run in the 3rd, clubbed a solo home run in the 6th, and hit a 3-run blast in the 8th! Ott's 9 home runs on the season are league-best (second-best hitters have a mere 5). He has an 1.109 road OPS and is tied for most RBI's in the league.
The Giants are 15-9 - tops in the league.
