Van Mungo pitches another complete game win

Van Mungo picked up his 3rd win in 3 starts, going the distance in today's 9-5 win.  He has complete games in each of his starts.  Today he was not great (allowing 5 earned runs) but pitched well enough to help an offense that has been on fire recently.

The Dodgers got things started in the 1st inning (a recent trend).  After the hot-hitting Danny Taylor tripled, Hack Wilson hit his 1st home run on the year.

The Dodgers are now hitting .306 as a team this season (2nd in the league behind Pittsburgh).
