Dodgers thrash Reds, 17-0

It was 'all Brooklyn, all day long' today at Crosley Field, as the Dodgers embarrassed the Reds, 17-0.  Tony Cuccinello was the hitting star for the Dodgers, going 2-for-4 with 6 RBI's.  Dutch Leonard gets the complete game shutout.  He was masterful, scattering 7 hits (all singles), and picking up the win.  The Dodgers had big innings in this one; in the 3rd inning they scored 6 runs, in the 6th inning they scored 4 runs, and in the 8th inning they scored 6 runs.  Johnny Frederick, Danny Taylor, and Len Koenecke all had multiple hit games to go with Cuccinello's.

Cuccinello had a big day at the plate.  He ripped a single plating 2 runners in the 3rd.  Then, later in the 8th inning, he hit a bases loaded double to clear the bases.  The Dodgers were an impressive 7-for-13 with runners in scoring position.

"I love a good laugher," Manager Williams said.
